iRise Adds Partner Program
El Segundo-based iRise (www.irise.com) has launched a new partner program. iRise said that it is now engaging system integrators who will help support and deploy the company's Application Simulator solution. The company's software allows for the definition, testing, and approval of web-based business applications without developing code.

LowerMyBills.com Taps Into Bill Payment
Los Angeles-based LowerMyBills.com has entered into the bill payment arena with the introduction of a new bill payment service. The new service will allow users to view, manage, and pay their bills online at LowerMyBills.com site, and will be an addition to LowerMyBills.com price research service. The new service will be based on Yodlee's BillDirect solution.

FrontBridge, VeriSign in Distribution Agreement
Marina Del Rey-based email filter provider FrontBridge Technologies (www.frontbridge.com) announced that it has signed a global, multiyear agreement with VerSign to power VeriSign's Email Security Service. VeriSign will private label, market, and sell an email security service for spam elimination and virus protection, based on the FrontBridge email filtering service. The deal covers North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.

Overture Launches Local Search Listings
Pasadena-based Overture Services (www.overture.com) announced today that it has launched a new local sponsored search service. Local Match provides targeted search results for local businesses, and will appear on Yahoo, MSN, ESPN.com, and other web sites. The new service allows advertisers to pinpoint a geographic area between 0.5 and 100 miles in which they want their search listings to be shown.
