St. Bernard Adds Spanish, Italian Support
San Diego-based St. Bernard Software (www.stbernard.com) announced that its UpdateEXPERT patch management solution is now available for the Spanish and Italian market. The company has localized the company's tools for managing patches for Microsoft operating systems, adding to the company's support for German and French markets. The company has a staff of patch management experts who are dedicated to the Spanish and Italian language patches for Microsoft products.

Neven Vision, Comnetix Form Alliance
Los Angeles-based Neven Vision (www.nevenvision.com) has joined in a strategic relationship with Comnetix, a Toronto-based provider of biometric identification and authentication solutions. According to Comnetix, the firm will integrate Neven Vision's facial recognition technology into its criminal and civil identification and authentication system. Neven Vision is developing machine vision technology software specialized for embedded, low cost microprocessors and digital signal processors.

UCSD Launches Secure Network Alliance Center
The University of California, San Diego announced that AT&T, Alcatel, Hewlett-Packard, and Qualcomm have committed $9M to a new Center for Network Systems (CNS),a new university-industry alliance developing technologies for robust, secure, and open networked systems. The new center will look at enterprise computing, networking equipment, and network operations. Blottnitz Resigns From Citrix
Santa Barbara-based Citrix Online (www.gotomypc.com) announced that Andreas von Blottnitz has resigned as President of the division, and would be succeeded by Brett Caine. The company said that Blottnitz was retiring for personal reasons. Blottnitz was CEO and President of ExpertCity, which Citrix recently acquired for $225M. Caine was most recently Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Citrix Online offers Citrix GoToMyPC and GoToAssist, web-based remote desktop and access solutions.
