Parasoft Announces Code Testing For Game Developers
Monrovia-based Parasoft has announced a new automated error prevention software focused on game developers. The company's new software is tarageted at helping gaming developers produce reliable software, and specifically supports OpenGL and DirectX development. The new tools as specifically designed to work with embedded gaming systems.

Agensys Inks Genentech Deal
Santa Monica-based Agensys inked a deal last week to collaborate with biotech firm Genentech to collaborate on research, development, and commercialization of Agensys's proprietary cancer targets. The agreement calls for Genentech to receive exclusive worldwide license to Agensys' patent rights for the therapeutic products. According to the companies, the deal may be worth up to $90M depending on milestone targets. The deal also included an equity investment in Agensys by Genentech.

Sharp Taps Citrix For Online Meetings
Huntington Beach-based Sharp Systems of America, and Santa Barbara-based Citrix Online have entered into a strategic alliance to offer a three month free trial of Citrix Online's GoToMeeting service. Sharp's notebook computer customers will have the three month trial included with their machines, introducing Sharp users to the GoToMeeting service. GoToMeeting provides internet-based desktop sharing, chat, web sharing, and integrated audio teleconfereing.

WebSideStory Estimates Offering Price-
San Diego-based WebSideStory hsa amended its S-1 IPO filing, and estimated that its initial offering price will be between $10.00 and $12.00 a share. The company is offering 5M shares of stock and has applied to the Nasdaq to list as WSSI. WebSideStory develops web analysis tools for determining the behavior of online customers, used by such companies as Walt Disney, Best Buy, Nokia, and others to monitor their web sites. Bangalore Set To Pass Silicon Valley As Largest IT Employer
Bangalore, India is set to pass Silicon Valley as the largest concentration of IT employees, according to MS Shankaralinge Gowda, an Indian government official. According to the official, Bangalore has 160,000 professionals working in IT, with the number expected to grow to more than 200,000 in 2004-2005, exceeding the number of high tech workers in Santa Clara County, the center of Silicon Valley.
