iRise Aligns With Offshore Services Provider Tata
El Segundo-based iRise (www.irise.com) announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Tata Consulting Services, one of the largest IT software and services consulting organizations in the world. Tata provides offshore software development and services both in the US and India, where it is one of India's largest offshore services providers. PhatNoise Inks Mazda Deal
Los Angeles-based PhatNoise has inked a deal with Mazda North America to provide the PhatNoise Digital Media Player at Mazda dealerships. According to the company, the digital entertainment device will be available at over 700 dealerships in the U.S. The PhatNoise Digital Media Player integrates directly into the new MAZDA3, MAZDA, MX-5 Miata, and the RX-8, and integrated steering wheel stereo controls. FrontBridge Raises $10M
Marina Del Rey-based FrontBridge has raised $10M in a Series D round for its email message management and email security services. The round was led by Focus Ventures, and included existing investors Sierra Ventures, Bank of America Venture Partners, Kummell Investments, and Waitte Ventures. The funding brings FrontBridge's total investments to $28M. The company said that the funding would be used to expand the compahy's global data centers in Toronto, Paris, Brussels, Zurich, and Hong Kong.
