Dr. Maroni was previously VP of Clinical Research at Amgen. Neostem is developing adult stem cell therapeutics, targeted at cancer and heart disease. Dr. Maroni was Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta.

ValueClick Completes Pricerunner AcquisitionWestlake Village-based ValueClick (www.valueclick.com) announced that it has completed its acquisition of Pricerunner AB, an online comparison shopping service. The acquisition is worth $29.0M in cash and stock. Pricerunner provides comparison shopping in the UK and Sweden, with plans to expand in France and Germany. According to the company, Pricerunner generated revenues of $3.6M for the six month period ending April 30, 2004, and has about $2.5M in cash.
