Jazz Semiconductor Adds New Process Technology
Newport Beach-based Jazz Semiconductor (www.jazzsemi.com) announced a new Specialty CMOS process technology for the integration of analog high speed and lower power functions on a single chip. The new technology, based on its 200GHz SiGe BiCMOS process provides high frequency performance. The process is targeted at low power wireless and high speed networking designs. Jazz operates as a semiconductor wafe foundry for high speed CMOS integrated circuits.

Citrix Gains AT&T Certification
Santa Barbara-based Citrix Online (www.citrixonline.com) announced that the company's GoToMyPC screen sharing software has been certified by AT&T. The certification means that the software has been proven to work on AT&T's high speed EDGE national wireless data network. The Citrix software is targeted at mobile professionals using laptops and PDAs to access their office desktops. Bitfone Acquires Mobile Diagnostix
Laguna Niguel-based Bitfone (www.bitfone.com) said yesterday that it has acquired Mobile Diagnostix, a Toronto-based company whose products detect device configuration errors with cell phones and provides customer service help. Mobile Diagnostix SmartCare software includes a automated handset analysis system and a rules engine for advising customer service representatives of corrective actions to fix cell phone issues.
