Occam Enhances Broadband Solution
Santa Barbara-based Occam Networks said today that it has added two new blades to the company's BLC 6000 Broadband Loop Carrier System. The BLC 6212 is a 48-port blade for delivering data and video services via ADSL technology, and the and BLC 6252 is a 48-port blade that combines ADSL and POTS (plain old telephone service) on the same blade. Archos Adds Video Playback
Irvine-based Archos (www.archos.com) has introduced a new pocket audio and video player to the market. The company's new Gmnini400 goes beyond the company's existing line of audio players, and adds a 2.2 inch color LCD screen and video playback, photo viewing, and games. The Gmnini400 has a 20GB disk capacity, and features a CompactFlash reader for transfering photos and data.
