ModernMom Launches Photo Center
Los Angeles-based ModernMom.com (www.modernmom.com), an online resource community for parents, announced this week that it has launched a new photo center that allows its subscribers to upload and share their photos online. The new photo center is run by online photo service Snapfish. As part of the photo service, ModernMom.com subscribers will also be offered free printing and special discounts on photo-related merchandise. Scientists Set New Internet2 Speed Record
Pasadena-based Caltech (www.caltech.edu), the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), as well as AMD, Cisco, Microsoft Research, Newisys, and S2io announced that the organizations have set a new speed record for transmitting information over Internet2, the new second generation Internet currently under development.
