Wright is EVP, Office of the CEO, Strategic Alliances and Global Accounts for data storage giant EMC. Wright joined EMC when the company acquired Legato Systems, where he was President and CEO. Wright is also on th eboard of VA Software and Aspect Communications. AMCC develops semiconductors and products for the storage industry.

Tekelec Promotes VPCalabasas-based Tekelec said that it has promoted Scott Weidenfeller to SVP Global Marketing. Weidenfeller will lead the company's global marketing organization, encompassing everything from strategic marketing and channel to global sales. Weidenfeller joined Tekelec in 2003 when it acquired Santera Systems, where he was VP of product line management, marketing, and business development.

JAMDAT Ships European, Japanese Wireless GamesLos Angeles-based wireless game publisher JAMDAT Mobile has announced a new set of titles in Europe, and has separately announced its first foray into the Japanese wireless market. JAMDAT and Codemasters, a European developer and publisher of video games, have teamed to bring the console games TOCA Race Driver, Club Soccer, and LMA Manager to mbile phones. MovieTickets.com, MTV PartnerLos Angeles-based MovieTickets.com announced that it has signed apartnership with MTV Networks to provide online ticketing services. The online services will allow MTV.com, CMT and VH1.com users to access MovieTickets ticketing inventory, The new co-branded service will allow users to buy advance tickets to movies, and provide showtimes and information.
