Quest Adds Microsoft Exchange Mail Management
Irvine-based Quest Software has announced a new management solution for Microsoft Exchange email servers. The company said that its Quest Archive Manager for Exchange is now generally available, adding archiving and management to Microsoft Exchange environments. The company's software consolidates personal mail folder files and online messaging with a consolidated archive of data. Iomega Ships Microsoft Storage Server NAS System
San Diego-based Iomega said today that it has updated its network attached storage (NAS) line with a new storage server based on Microsoft's Windows Storage Server 2003. The company's NAS 400r series is targeted at small and medium sized businesses, and uses low cost Serial ATA storage to provide up to 1.6TB of capacity. Gateway Stages Japanese Comeback
Irvine-based Gateway made a symbolic gesture yesterday with the brand's re-entry into the Japanese market, which Gateway had withdrawn from in 2001. The company introduced a total of four new models for the Japanese market, including two notebooks, the Gateway 4000JP and 3538JP, and two PCs, the 705JP high performance desktop and Gateway 600 ultra slim small form factor desktop.
