Reuters, Akonix Ink Compliance Partnership
San Diego-based Akonix said this morning that it has joined Reuters' Messaging Compliance Partner Program. Akonix will enable Reuters Messaging customers to use the Akonix instant messaging firewall to ensure enterprise-wide compliance, archiving, security, and control. Accruent Upgrades Contract Management Software For Real Estates
Santa Monica-based Accruent has upgraded its contract management software, adding a new solution focused on real estate lifecycle management for large-chain retailers. The company's upgraded software provides management of real estate market planning, site selection, build out, and facilities and lease management. Accruent said that it has more than 350 companies using its solution. Accruent's integrated software automated lease management for real estate and other industries.

Oak Grove, Linmar Partner On BPM
Calabasas-based Oak Grove Systems and Linmar Systems announced this morning that Linmar has licensed Oak Grove's Reactor 6.0 business process management (BPM) software suite. Linmar will integrate the Reactor software to enhance the company's ProcessPointe BPM suite. Google Releases Picasa Updates
Search engine giant Google today is making a major upgrade to its Picasa photo organizing tool today, adding high end features such as photo editing capability, advanced image editing effects, customized printing, and the ability to burn CD ROMs. The free tool now offers features usually only found in imaging editing tools, including photographic filter effects, photo cropping, red-eye removal, and the ability to create CD slideshows.
