TransDimension Appoints CFO
Irvine-based TransDimension has appointed Mark Becher as VP of Finance/Administration and CFO. Becker was previously CFO of Jazz Semiconductor, and also has held positions at Conexant, Burr-Brown, Crystal Semiconductor and Texas Instruments. TransDimension develops software for implementing the USB protocol on embedded devices.

LinkShare, WebSideStory Integrate Web Analytics
Internet affiliate marketing leader LinkShare and San Diego-based WebSideStory said this morning that the two companies have partnered to integrate their web analytics solutions. WebSideStory's HBX web analytics solution will be integrated into LinkShare's reporting environment, adding in-depth, channel specific data to LinkShare's customers. Roaming Messager Hooks Into BlackBerry
Santa Barbara-based Roaming Messenger has joined Research in Motion's BLackberry ISV Alliance program. Roaming Messenger said that it will support its technology in solutions based on the BlackBerry platform. Roaming Messenger's technology links text, images, GIS data, and other information on BlackBerry and other wireless devices. The company is targeting its products at the homeland security, emergency response, automation and control, enterprise messaging and supply chain management areas.

Photoleap Unveils Digital Photo Service
San Diego-based startup Photoleap has unveiled its software this morning at DEMO for allowing people to send and receive large digital photos via email. The company, founded by JRun developer and Xamlon founder Paul Colton, says that ithe new software allows for the sending of hundreds of high quality, high resolution digital photos via email. Cambridge Taps Evolution Robotics
Pasadena-based Evolution Robotics said this morning that Cambridge University's Machine Intelligence Laboratory will use the company's visual pattern recognition and navigation technology its its research. Evolution provides a robotics kit which provides visual pattern recognition and navigation ability, and can be customized by users. Movielink, BBC Expand Content Offerings
Santa Monica-based video on demand company Movielink announced this morning that it is collaborating with BBC Worldwide Americas to expand its content. Movielink will add more documentaries and new literary adaptations of Shakespeare classics to its lineup of downloadable video content. Movielink will also create a BBC branded section of its Web site to allow users to browse and download BBC titles.
