Movielink Gets Musical
Santa Monica-based Movielink said today that it is adding new Broadway musicals to its video on demand catalog. The broadband video on demand firm said that it is partnering with Broadway Worldwide to feature award winning Broadway musical for download on its movie download services. The company is adding such titles as"Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller"; "Jekyll and Hyde The Musical", "Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies," and other recording of live broadway shows. ORYXE Energy Gets Investment
Irvine-based ORYXE Energy International, a developer of cleaner-burning fuel additives, has received strategic funding from Netherlands-based DSM Venturing, the corporate venture arm of chemical specialities maker DSM. The funding comes as part of a Series C round of funding in the company. According to a spokesperson for the firm, the company has closed the first two tranches of its Series C round, and is planning on a June close for its third tranche. Vantage Oncology Finds $22M
El Segundo-based Vantage Oncology announced yesterday that it has raised $22M in a Series C funding for expanding its cancer treatment centers. Vantage operates radiation oncology centers nationwide, and will use the funding to acquire and development more treatment facilities. The new round of funding was led by New Enterprise Associates and Conning Capital Partners, existing investors in the company. Other existing investors Versant Ventures and Salix Ventures also participated.

Sennari Raises Series A
Los Angeles-based Sennari has raised a Series A funding round worth $2M from Novak Biddle Venture Partners and Blacksmith Capital. The company is developing solutions for managing mobile media relationships. Sennari said that it will use the funding to develop and expand the company's customer loyalty solution. The company is headed by Bill Barhydt, who serves as Chairman and CEO.

IBM Buys GlueCode Software
In a bid to expand its WebSphere line of web products, IBM said yesterday that it has acquired Los Angeles-based GlueCode Software. GlueCode, a venture backed startup funded by Dynafund Ventures, Palomar Ventures, Rustic Canyon Ventures, and Storie Partners, develops process and security management software based on the open source software model. Yahoo Unveils Music Subscription Service
Yahoo's Santa Monica-based entertainment division announced that it is entering the online music subscription business with a new, subscription-based music download service. The new service goes head to head against services like Los Angeles-based Napster, Apple iTunes, and the RealNetworks Rhapsody service. The company said that its Yahoo!
