Green Hills Rolls Out Enhancements For Freescale Chips
Santa Barbara-based Green Hills Software said this morning that it has released new software enhancements for its tools for the Freescale MPC5500 processor family. Green Hills has rolled out a new software optimization tool that reduces memory usage on the Freescale platform by up to 30 percent. The Green Hills tool targets makers of embedded automotive systems, allowing for less memory usage and better use of hardware. Los Angeles-based PriceGrabber.com said this morning that it has entered into a strategic alliance with MSN. PriceGrabber's comparison shopping services will be included on MSN Shopping, and included in a wide range of MSN shopping categories. IP3 Partners On Broadband Marketing
San Diego-based IP3 Networks said that it has partnered with BelAir Networks, a provider of wide area wireless broadband solutions. The two companies have entered into a marketing agreement to provide hot spot and wireless hot zone solutions to carriers, service providers, and systems integrators. IP3's equipment and BelAir's wireless networking infrastructure will be combined in a solution targeted at the enterprise and public venues. LogicBlaze Launches Commercial ActiveMQ Support
Marina Del Rey-based LogicBlaze announced this morning that it has begun providing enterprise-class, subscription-based support for ActiveMQ, a leading open source messaging software solution. The new company, launched by Simula Labs, the open source investment firm headed by former Gluecode founder Winston Damarillo, will provide value added technology and support for ActiveMQ enterprise customers. ValueClick Acquires Web Clients, E-Babylon
Westlake Village-based ValueClick this morning said that it has agreed to buy Web Marketing Holdings (Web Clients) for $141M. Web Clients generates leads for advertisers through its online web sites, opt-in email database, and affiliate network. ValueClick also said that it has agreed to acquire E-Babylon, an online retailer of ink and toner products.
