Streamload Partners With SageTV
San Diego-based online file storage firm Streamload announced last week that it has partnered with SageTV, a developer of personal video recorders and media center software. The companies said that SageTV will direct customers to Streamload as a source of media file storage. Streamload provides an online service targeted at consumers, allowing for storage of digital files, video, music, and photos.

Linksys Acquires KiSS Technology For $61M
Cisco's Irvine-based Linksys division has acquired Denmark-based KiSS Technology A/S, in a deal that expands Linksys into networked entertainment devices. The deal is worth $61M in cash and stock. KiSS is a developer of networked DVD players and networked DVD recorders, which Cisco said it would integrate into Linksys, continue to sell KiSS's existing products in Europe, and over time will develop a suite of targeted products based on KiSS technology for the world market. RiverOne Raises $6M
Irvine-based supply chain management software firm RiverOne said this morning that it has raised $6M in a new round of venture funding. Funding came from Rustic Canyon Partners and Baker Capital, both existing investors in the company. RiverOne said that it would use the funding to move forward with aggressive sales and marketing initiatives, and build infrastructure.
