VisionTree Lands School District
San Diego-based VisionTree Software said this week that it has landed Prince George's School District in Maryland as a customer of its decision making software. VisionTree's software provides collboration tools, and will be used by the district to gather group consensus on curriculum development and strategic planning. VisionTree provides software-driven decision making and strategic planning solutions.

Quest Upgrades Exchange Tool
Irvine-based Quest Software has upgraded its Quest Spotlight on Exchange troubleshooting tool. The company said that the tool, used for troubleshooting, performance analysis, and administration of Microsoft Exchange, now offers integration with the company's exchange migration tools, better data collection wizards, and better overview screens for user navigation.

SMC Takes Aim At Resorts And Truck Stops
Irvine-based SMC Networks, a hardware manufacturer provider of wireless access points, bridges, and other equipment, said today that it is targeting the hospitality industry with its solutions. The company said that it is working with tier-one broadband service providers and integrators to allow for installation of wireless access at remote resorts, truck stops, motels, and college campuses. MovieTickets.com, IMAX In Partnership
Los Angeles-based MovieTickets.com and IMAX said this morning that the two companies have entered into a marketing partnership to provide online ticketing for IMAX properties. MovieTickets.com, which provides online movie ticketing services, and IMAX, the large format theatre operator, said that MovieTickets.com will help to promote awareness of Hollywood event films available in IMAX format.
