Interlink Names Execs
Camarillo-based Interlink Electronics said yesterday that it has appointed Charles C. Best as CFO and Paul D. Meyer as Executive Vice President. The developer of signature pads and other electronic devices said that Best has served as CFO for public and private companies. Paul D. Meyer has been with Interlink for fifteen years, and was previously CFO.

WebSideStory Adds Yodlee CEO to Board
San Diego-based web analytics provider WebSideStory said yesterday that Yodlee CEO Anil Arora is joining its board of directors. Arora is President and CEO of Yodlee, a provider of financial management software and services for the financial services industry. Arora has also served at Gateway, Pillsbury, and Kraft Foods. WebSideStory provides services that help companies monitor web traffic patterns on their e-commerce and other web sites.

THQ Adds EVP
Calabasas-based computer entertainment developer THQ has named Kelly Flock as EVP of Worldwide Publishing. Flock will oversee the company's publishing activities, product strategy, marketing, and sales. He joins THQ from Sony Online Entertainment, and has also served at 989 Studios and LucasArts Entertainment Company. THQ publishes a broad line of entertainment titles for computers and consoles.

DexCom Receives Patent
San Diego-based DexCom said today that it has received a patent for its continuous glucose monitoring system. The developer of monitoring systems for people with diabetes said that the patent covers the company's fail safe method for accepting the clinical acceptability of glucose sensor data. The company said that it has eight issues U.S. patents, and 61 pending U.S. patents.

CrownPeak Signs the Robb Report
Los Angeles-based CrownPeak announced this week that it has signed on CurtCo Media, publisher of the Robb Report, as a customer. CurtCo has deployed CrownPeak's content management system for creating the Robb Report Luxury Portal, a web version of its luxury lifestyle magazine. The portal contains editorial, photography, and classified advertising from CurtCo's various media properties. DARPA Honors Local Companies
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced the winner of its 2005 DARPA Awards for Excellence last week, naming Monrovia-based AeroVironment for its development of the Wasp micro air vehicle; Camarillo-based ISX Corp for its Command Post of the Future (CPOF) team; San Diego-based SYS Technologies for its CPOF work; and the University of Southern California's Center for Advanced Research in Technology for its Tactical Language Training System.
