Ixia Upgrades Scripting Test Tool
Calabasas-based Ixia announced this morning that it has released a new version of its IxScriptMate test automation tool. The company's upgrade 5.10 release of the software adds the ability for test scripts to be integrated within test applications. IxScriptMate is an add on to Ixia's hardware test platform for high speed networking, and automates the testing process.

Xyleme Partners For Travel Publishing
San Diego-based Xyleme said today that it has partnered with Offline Digital to develop an end-to-end publishing solution for the travel industry. Offline will integrate Xyleme's technology to create web applications for the tourism agency. The combined solution will allow tourists to build personalized itineraries and travel brochures which they can forward to friends and relatives. Sendia Revs Wireless Salesforce.com Application
Santa Monica-based Sendia has released version 3.0 of the company's WorkSpace CRM tool for the popular Salesforce.com hosted customer relationship management and sales tool. Sendia said that its upgraded software provides new support for Salesforce.com Customforce capabilities, better data capacity, and customizable lists. Kotura Raises $13M
Monterey Park-based Kotura has raised $13M in a second round of venture funding for its silicon photonic products. Funding came from new investor GF Private Equity Group, and also included participation by the Viterbi Group. The company's existing investors ComVentures and ARCH Venture Partners also participated. As part of the round, David Fallace of GF Private Equity Group has joined the company's board of directors.
