Green Hills Rolls Out VxWorks Support
Santa Barbara-based Green Hills Software said today that its MULTI embedded development environment now supports the popular VxWorks embedded operating system. The company said that its development environment supports both VxWorks version 5 and 6, and improves upon VxWorks developer Wind River Systems' own development environment. San Monica-based software as a service firm SOA Software said yetserday that it has rolled out support for BEA's Qualogic product family. The company said that its updated Service Manager for BEA Aqualogic provides enterprise Web services management. The software includes endpoint and service level agreement monitoring, error handling, and auditing of Web services capabilities. JAMDAT Gets Rights to Dakar Race
Los Angeles-based wireless entertainment developer JAMDAT Mobile said today that it has acquired long term licensing to the Dakar Race from the Amaury Sport Organization. JAMDAT will develop a wireless version of the Dakar racing event. JAMDAT did not say when titles would be available, or discuss any other terms of the deal. JAMDAT is a developer of wireless phone entertainment titles.
