Iomega Loses CFO
San Diego-based Iomega said this morning that it has lost its CFO, Thomas Ligouri. Ligouri is resigning from the firm effective November 11th to join a company outside of California. Iomega said taht the firm does not compete with Iomega. Iomega said that Thomas D. kampfer, currently EVP and Secretary of the firm, has been named interim CFO. The company has started a search process for a new CFO.

Swenson Joins Amp'd Mobile
Los Angeles-based Amp'd Mobile has added Sue Swenson as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of its board. Swenson is former COO at T-Mobile USA, and serves on the board of directors of Wells Fargo & Company. Amp'd Mobile is developing wireless broadband entertainment and programs aimed at youth and other early adopters of wireless technology. The company recently raised a $67.0M round of funding for its venture.

PriceGrabber.com Expands Board
Los Angeles-based shopping comparison engine company PriceGrabber.com said today that it has added Dennis Holt and Christopher McGurk to its board of directors. Holt is Chairman and CEO of Patriot Communications. Holt also serves on the board of Westwood One and United Online. Christopher McGurk is the former Vice Charimand and COO of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. PriceGrabber provides online shopping comparison services.

Jambo Teams With InfoSpace
Agoura Hills-based Jambo said today that it will provide its pay per call solutions to search engine firm InfoSpace. The pay per call startup said that it has reached an agreement with InfoSpace to use its pay-per-call product available through InfoSpace's online directories and private-label search properties. Jambo is targeting the local search engine market with a product that converts advertising leads to telephone calls to local advertisers.

REAL D Deploys Digital 3-D Film
Los Angeles-based REAL D said this morning that it has reached a five-year licensing deal with 24 theater circuits in the United States, Canada, and Mexico for installment of its digital 3-D content. The firm, which is powering the launch of the 3-D presentation of Disney's upcoming "Chicken Little" feature, will offer feature presentations in its 3D format starting in November.
