IP3 Networks Names Execs
San Diego-based IP3 Networks this week appointed two new vice presidents. The provider of access control solutions for broadband networks said that it named Kelly Anderson as VP of Sales, and Aine Shivnan as VP of Engineering. Anderson has previously served at Nortel and GoRemote. Shivnan was most recently VP of Engineering at Xprime, and has served at Airfiber and 3COM. IP3 provides access control and billing equipment for broadband providers in the hotel and hospitality industry.

Napster Taps Digital Music from Clear Channel
Los Angeles-based Napster has partnered with Instant Live, a division of Clear Channel Entertainment to offer access to Instant Live's recordings of concert performances. Napster subscribers will get access to full length performance recordings from Instant Live, with content that includes artists The Allman Brothers Band, Bauhaus, The Black Crowes, and Copeland. Boost Ties Into Instant Messaging
Irvine-based Boost Mobile has tied into AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and MSN Messenger on its mobile phones. Boost phones will be able to support an application which communicates directly with the popular instant messaging services. The provider of wireless service, owned by Sprint Nextel, said that the new mobile IM service will provide similar look and feel on its IM services to the desktop services. 3D Systems Packs Up, Moves To South Carolina
Valencia-based 3D Systems announced this morning that it is consolidating its corporate headquarters, operations, and R&D to a new facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The company said it will shut down its Valencia corporate headquarters by September 30th of next year. The company is also shutting down its facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. 3D Systems did say that it plans to maintain an Advanced Research facility in Valencia for developing future technologies. Intuit Acquires MyCorporation.com For $20M
Mountain View-based Intuit has agreed to purchase Agoura Hills-based MyCorporation.com, a web site providing online business incorporation, trademark and copyright searches and filings, and other legal filing services. Intuit said it is paying approximately $20M in cash for the business. MyCorporation.com was founded in 1997.
