Belkin Ships Wireless USB Hub
Compton-based Belkin, a manufacturer of computer accessories, announced a new, wireless USB Hub that provides USB access to devices without requiring a cable. The new hardware allows for standard USB access to devices such as printers, scanners, hard drives, and MP3 players through ultrawideband connectivity. Apriso Certifies With SAP
Long Beach-based Apriso has been certified with SAP's NetWeaver application platform, the company said this morning. Apriso's FlexNet supply chain manufacturing software has been certified by SAP. The certification covers SAP's mySAP ERP tools. Apriso is a provider of manufacturing management software, and is backed by CMEA Ventures, SAP Ventures, Brentwood Venture Capital, and others.

Conexant Rolls Out PCI Express Decoder
Newport Beach-based Conexant Systems said this morning that it has shipped a new, PCI Express broadcast decoder focused on PC applications. The company's new CX23885 device is focused on allowing manufacturers to develop applications such as video capture, television watching, or radio for personal computers. Conexant said that the new device supports PCI Express 1.0a and is 1.1 ready, and is the first in a line of devices for integrating television and external A/V capture. DTS Launches New HD DVD Format
Agoura Hills-based DTS is launching its new HD DVD audio format, DTS-HD Master Audio at CES tomorrow. The company said that its format supports high definition video and 7 channels of high definition surround sound audio, and is a key part of next generation HD DVD and Blue-ray format. FAA Proposes New Spaceflight Rules
In a sign of the increasing viability of the growing commercial spaceflight industry, the Federal Aviation Administration released a new set of proposed rules Thursday covering commercial space flights.
