Interview with Robin Richard, Chairman and CEO of NTI Group
My interview today is with Robin Richards, Chairman and CEO of NTI Group. NTI Group (www.ntigroup.com) is a Sherman Oaks-based company that is providing mass notification systems for the education and other industries. Federal Probe Into Stock Options Expands
The Securities and Exchange Commission is expandings its investigation into the granting of stock options at over 30 publicly traded firms today, as a growing firms are being put under scrutiny for the timing of their stock option grants to executives. SIPphone Supports Asterisk PBX
San Diego-based SIPphone, the voice over IP firm started by MP3.com founder Michael Robertson, said today that it's latest release of its SIP open source project the Gizmo Project supports integration with the popular, open source Asterisk PBX software. SIPphone said that Gizmo Project users can now be universally reachable via their Asterisk PBX software. The Gizmo softphone can be used for office PBX calls. U.S. Army, Pragmatic Launch Video Game Statistics Site
Westlake Village-based Pragmatic Solutions and the U.S. Army have launched a beta of a new web site that tracks statistics for the popular America's Army video game. The new aa-mbs.com web site helps players find game servers and players for the online game. Move.com Releases Search Engine
Westlake Village-based Move has relaunched its real estate search engine site, announcing today that its new web site now provides more real estate listings and rental information. The company, which was formerly Homestore, said that its relaunched site provides access to more homes nationwide, provides basic home buying and selling tips, home value reports, and moving checklists. YubNub Taps Skweezer
Irvine-based Greenlight Wireless said yesterday that YubNub, a popular tool for creating "social command lines" for Web browsers, will use the firm's Skweezer technology. Greenlight's Skweezer technology reformats web pages to fit mobile phone and PDA browsers. Greenlight said that YubNub is using Skweezer to create instant mobile versions of Web pages for users. Avexus Goes To Hawaii
San Diego-based Avexus, a provider of software for the maintenance and repair industry, said today that Hawaii's Island Air has implemented its asset management and operations solution. Island Air will use the Avexus software to maintain asset management and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) resocrds.
