St. Bernard Software Completes Singlefin Acquisition
San Diego-based St. Bernard Software has completed its acquisition of Singlefin, the firm said Tuesday. Singlefin is a provider of hosted email and web filtering services. St. Bernard provides software for SMBs in the security space. The firm announced the acquisition earlier this month. No terms were disclosed.

Mindspeed Expands in Hyderabad
Newport Beach-based Mindspeed has opened a design center in Hyderabad, India, the firm said Tuesday. Mindspeed said that the center will provide development and customer support for its Comcerto Voice over Internet Protocol products. The firm said that the center will initially have 15 engineers, to be expanded over time.

Energy Innovations Powers Google Solar Project
Pasadena-based EI Solutions, the systems integration arm of Energy Innovations, said Monday evening that the firm will begin constructing a 1.6MW rooftop and parking lot photovoltaic energy system for Google. The project will be the largest solar-powered corporate office complex in the United States. WiSpry Raises $13.5M Series B
Irvine-based WiSpry has raised $13.5M in a Series B funding round, the firm said this morning, led by L Capital Partners. New investor Hotung Capital Management, along with existing investors American River Ventures, Blueprint Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Tech Coast Angels and Western Technology Investment also participated. PacketVideo Acquires Media Server Firm
San Diego-based PacketVideo, a developer of multimedia software for mobile phones, said today it has acquired TwonkyVision GmbH, a Berlin-based maker of media server software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. TwonkyVision is the maker of software for embedded devices, including set-top boxes and personal recorders. TwonkyVision is a spinout of the Fraunhofer Institute. TwonkyVision's Berlin headquarters will become PacketVideo Germany.

Citysearch Adds SMS Services
West Hollywood-based Citysearch has added new mobile services for its online city guides, announcing today two new mobile services driven by short message service technology. Citysearch said that it has added a new SMS service that allows users to send local business listings from its web page directly to their cell phone, and a mobile search service that allows users to search for businesses using text messaging. Citysearch is a unit of IAC/InterActiveCorp.

Actuate Taps Webalo For Mobile Spreadsheets
Actuate, a provider of enterprise reporting and performance management software, said today that it has combined efforts with Santa Monica-based Webalo, a provider of Web services, to deliver spreadsheets to mobile devices. Actuate said that its Actuate 9 e.Spreadsheet has been combined with Webalo's user proxy software to allows users to view spreadsheet data on mobile devices like the RIM BlackBerry, Palm Treo, Windows Mobile, and Java-enabled mobile phones. Bushnell Unveils First uWink Location
Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari and Chuck E. Cheese, has opened up the first restaurant of his new uWink chain in Woodland Hills. Los Angeles-based uWink said Monday that it opened its first restaurant, which combines eating and drinking with interactivity. The new restaurant combines ordering of food via touchscreen terminals with interactive games and Internet connectivity.
