SenoRx Sets IPO Terms
Aliso Viejo-based SenoRX, which is developing medical devices for minimally invasive surgery, set terms of the firm's IPO Wednesday night. SenorX said it will offer 5,500,000 shares of its common stock between $11.00 and $13.00 per share in its IPO. The firm will trade on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol "SENO". The IPO is being underwritten by Banc of America Securities, Citigroup, Cowen and Company, and First Albany Capital.

Study Names Orange County Vulnerable To Offshoring
A new study released by the Brookings Institution this month says that Orange County is among several metropolitan areas vulnerable to offshore outsourcing. The study, entitled "The Implications of Service Offshoring for Metropolitan Economies", found that at least 17 percent of computer programming, software engineering, and data entry jobs are likely to be offshored between 2004 and 2015 in areas like Boston, San

FIM Buys Interactive Advertising Company
Los Angeles-based Fox Interactive Media announced this morning that it has completed the acquisition of Santa Monica-based Strategic Data Corporation, an interactive advertising technology company. SDC provides technology for optimizing online advertising. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. FIM said that the acquisition would be used to provide hyper-targeted ad serving for the firm's network.

ProfitLine Raises $7M
San Diego-based ProfitLine, a provider of telecom expense management services, said today that it has raised $7M in an expansion financing. The funding came from FTVentures and Menlo Ventures. ProfitLine said the funding will go towards the next generation of its offering. ProfitLine provides outsourcing of telecom expense management. Both FTVentures and Menlo Ventures are prior investors in the firm.

CoDa Therapeutics Raises $10M
San Diego-based CoDa Therapeutics announced this morning that it has raised an additional $10M in a second close of its Series A funding. The financing including additional commitments from Domain Associates and new investor GBS Partners. Dr. Geoff Brooke from GBS joins the firm's board as part of the funding. CoDa is developing would care technologies for improved healing. The firm had a first close of its Series A worth $10M in October, bringing the total Series A funding to $20M.

NxTV Adds Sales VP
Los Angeles-based NxTV, a provider of in-room entertainment and data products for luxury hotels, said this morning that it has named Robert Mitchell Vice President of Sales. Mitchell has served most recently at LodgeNet and iBahn. NxTV provides in-room digital entertainment systems for the hospitality industry.

Nexsan Launches Archiving System
Woodland Hills-based Nexsan announced today that it is launching a new archiving system for medical records and imaging. The firm said that its new archiving appliance will be launched at a health conference next week, and will provide HIPAA-compliant storage and retrieval. Nexsan's disk-based appliance is being presented as an alternative to tape and optical storage products.

Kingston Launches Memory For Computer Gamers
Fountain Valley-based Kingston is targeting speed hungry computer gamers with a new memory product. Kingston said that its new line of 800MHz DDR2 low-latency HyperX memory is specifically targeted at PC enthusiasts and "overclockers". Video game enthusiasts are known for souping up their home PCs by speeding up the system clock, installing faster memory and components, all for an additional edge on multi-player video games.

Occam Resells DSL Diagnostics Product
Santa Barbara-based Occam Networks, a provider of telecom equipment for Ethernet and IP connectivity, announced today that it will resell the Aware Dr. DSL Line Diagnostics Platform. The product allows telecommunications operators to baseline, provision, and troubleshoot copper DSL lines. The product works in conjuction with Occam's broadband loop carrier products.

NextWave Wireless Finalized GO Acquisition
San Diego-based NextWave Wireless said Wednesday afternoon that it has completed its acquisition of Mountain View-based GO Networks. The deal was originally announced in January, and is worth $13.3M in cash plus up to $25.7M in earnout. GO also maintains research and development facilities in Tel Aviv.
