Apacheta Finds Follow On Funding
San Diego-based Apacheta said Wednesday that it has received a follow-on investment to its Series B funding round. The additional capital came from investor Palisades Ventures, and also included other undisclosed private investors. Amount of the additional funding was not disclosed. Apacheta develops mobile enterprise software for consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, 3rd party service & repair, telecommunications, and transportation industries. iSuppli Gets Investment From Goldman Sachs
El Segundo-based iSuppli said this morning that it has received an investment from Goldman, Sachs & Co., as part of a marketing and investment agreement with the firm's Hudson Street Services unit. Financial terms of the minority investment were not disclosed. iSuppli said that Hudson Street will offer the firm's market intelligence reports and databases to Goldman Sachs clients. iSuppli is a provider of market research for the electronics, semiconductor, and other industry sectors.

Revver In P2P Digital Media Deal
Los Angeles-based online video sharing and viral video site Revver, and INTENT MediaWorks, a provider of digital media distribution tools for peer-to-peer networks, said today that the two are in an agreement to exchange and distribute each other's content online. Revver will distribute its user-generated video across INTENT's peer-to-peer network, and INTENT MediaWorks will provide Revver with videos from its service.

Snap.com Rolls Energy Saving Widget
Pasadena-based Perfect Market Technologies, the firm behind the Snap.com search engine, has rolled out yet another widget. The firm said this morning that it has made a new CO2 Saver toolbar for Windows users, which will allow computer users to quickly save electricity when they are away from their computers. The free toolbar uses Windows Power Management settings to reduce computer energy use when a user isn't using their computer, and calculates the amount of CO2 a user has saved. MySpace, Mark Burnett Launch Political Reality Show
Los Angeles-based MySpace and Mark Burnett Productions announced today that they are launching a new political reality show, INDEPENDENT, through the social networking web site. The network television series will focus on selecting political candidates which "reflect the voice of young Americans", and will incorporate feedback from MySpace users, and will use the site for online submissions to become a participant. DivX Loses CFO
San Diego-based DivX said Tuesday that its Chief Financial Officer is leaving the company. John Tanner, who has been at DivX since late 2004, said he was leaving the firm purely for personal reasons. DivX said that Tanner will remain with the company in aa consulting role during the firm's search process. DivX is a provider of compression/decompression software for video.
