Ingram Micro Scores Distribution Deal With Google
Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro has inked a distribution deal with Google, to distribute Google's enterprise search appliance. According to Google, the firm is partnering with Ingram Micro, a technology product distributor, to broaden its reach for the product. Google's enterprise search appliance, Google Search Appliance and Google Mini, are used by companies to provide Google-like search capabilities to internal documents and information. Coradiant Gets $15M
Poway-based Coradiant, a developer of monitoring software for data centers, has raised $15M. The round came from Mesirow Financial Private Equity, along with existing investors Desjardins, DCM, GrandBanks Capital and Miramar Venture Partners. Coradiant's software is used for real-time monitoring of data center operations.

VantageILM Raises $1.3M
Pasadena-based VantageILM, a developer of software for managing loans and leases, has scored $1.3M in a venture capital round led by Giant Step Angel Network. Other investors in the round included the Pasadena Angels, Stonnington Capital Partners LP and other private investors. comScore, SEMDirector In Marketing Deal
San Diego-based SEMDirector and Internet traffic measurement firm comScore said today that the two are in a joint marketing initiative, where SEMDirector will tap comScore for search data. SEMDirector will use comScore's data stream to enhance its search advertising products. According to the firms, comScore and SEMDirector will be able to co-sell their solutions, in addition to SEMDirector using comScore's data stream to improve its paid search management services for its customers. Vitesse Shuffles Board
Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor, a developer of high speed semiconductors for the communications, storage, and other industries, announced Tuesday afternoon that it has elected Willow B. Smith Micro Ships Morpheus For Mac
Aliso Viejo-based Smith Micro Software has shipped a Macintosh version of the firm's Morpheus Photo Animation Suite, the digital morphing software licensed from Santa Barbara-based Morpheus Software. Smith Micro said that the Mac version of the software combines Morpheus Photo Morpher, Morpheus Photo Warper, and Morpheus Photo Mixer, products used to morph, blend together photos, and for photo animation. Interneer Trumpets Web Application Patent
Los Angeles-based Interneer, a developer of a web-based application development platform, said Tuesday that it has been awarded a U.S. Patent on its technology. The firm said that the patent protects the way the company's software captures information. The patent, U.S. Patent No. 7,113,956, is entitled "Knowledge Management System and Method". Warner Bros. Names VOD VP
Burbank, California-based Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has named a new vice president, saying Tuesday that it has promoted Andy Mellett to Senior Vice President, Video On Demand for Warner Bros.
