Headplay Starts Selling Headmounted Displays
Santa Monica-based Headplay, a developer of headmounted displays targeted at gamers and movie watchers, said today in an email that the firm has begun to offer its products for purchase. The firm's headset displays, which were debuted at last year's DEMOfall 2006 conference, uses an LCoS display and was designed by IDEO. Napster Rolls Out Music Service Across DoCoMo Phone Lines
Los Angeles-based Napster said today that the firm's music subscription service is now available on all of NTT DoCoMo's handsets. The firm said that its over-the-air (OTA) service is now available across DoCoMo's complete line of handsets. Napster originally announced plans to deploy its service with the Japanese telecommunications firm in April; the firm's mobile services in Japan are a joint venture with Tower Records Japan and NTT DoCoMo. Agensys Rounds Up $41M
Santa Monica-based Agensys has raised $41.3M, in a Series D round, the company announced today. Agensys, which is developing therapeutic antibodies targeted at prostate and other cancers, said that the round was co-led by Duquesne Capital Management and JAFCO Co. Connexus Buys Ad Serving Technology Firm
El Segundo-based Connexus, an online advertising firm, said this morning that it has acquired the technology assets of AdModus, a developer of ad serving technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Connexus said that the AdModus technology will complement the firm's existing offerings, and will fuel development of additional advanced targeting and optimization solutions for its customers. AdModus CEO Jim Waltz will join Connexus as part of the acquisition.

FastSoft Adds Customer
Monrovia-based startup FastSoft, which is developing Internet acceleration products, said Wednesday that it has deployed its product at a colocation services company in the Bay Area. FastSoft said that the Pacific Internet Exchange, a wholesale bandwidth and colocation services provider serving Asia and the Japanese market, has deployed the firm's appliance. MyMedicalRecords Offers Drug Database To Users
Los Angeles-based MymedicalRecords.com, an online provider of a web-based, personal health record service, said today that it is offering a version of the Cerner Multum Drug Content Database available to its users. Belkin Rolls Wireless USB Hub
Compton-based PC accessories firm Belkin said yesterday that it has rolled out a new, wireless USB hub. The new hub allows PC users to connect to USB devices wirelessly through a specialized hardware device. According to Belkin, the new hardware allows laptop users to use any USB device from up to 30 feet away by plugging printers, hard drives, and other USB devices into the hub. LogicalApps Signs Qualcomm
Irvine-based LogicalApps has signed on Qualcomm has a customer, the firm said Wednesday. LogicalApps said that Qualcomm implemented its Financial Period Close Automation product. Size of the deal was not disclosed. Qualcomm will use the software to streamline quarterly close of the firm's books. LogicalApps software works with Oracle E-Business Suite to provide compliance and other checking of financials. LogicalApps is venture backed by Mission Ventures and Sequoia Capital.

Interlink Partners With Software Provider
Camarillo-based Interlink Electronics and Upland-based Laser App Software said yesterday that the two have partnered to integrate their products. Laser App Software's products have been integrated with Interlink's electronic signature capture device. The new solution is being used in the financial services area. Interlink is a manufacturer of electronic signature capture and other user interface products.
