Masimo Prices IPO
Irvine-based Masimo, a developer of medical devices, priced its IPO today, saying in a filing with the SEC that it expects its initial public offering to be priced at between $16.00 and $18.00 per share. Masimo is selling 11,916,626 shares of its common stock on the NASDAQ Global Market as MASI. Masimo is backed by INVESCO Private Capital, Moore Capital Management, DSV Partners, and Franklin Templeton Group. Kingston Launches College Branded Cards
Fountain Valley-based Kingston, a manufacturer of memory products, rolled out a line of college themed microSD cards Thursday. Kingston said that its new 1GB and 2GB memory cards will provide students, faculty, alumni, and other college fans with fight songs, school logos, and other content for mobile phones. Kingston is partnering with Movaya and 2Thumbz for the content, which is being licensed from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Autobytel Snags VP From Revver
Irvine-based Autobytel, an online marketer of automobiles, said this week that it has hired David Armitage as the firm's Vice President of Advertising. Armitage joins the firm from, where he was SVP of Advertising Sales. Armitage previously served at along with other firms. Autobytel provides lead generation and automotive information, and recently launched, a vertical search site focused on automotive consumers.
