LogicalApps Hires Trio Of VPs
Irvine-based LogicalApps said Wednesday that it has hired three new vice presidents at the firm. The company, which develops governance and compliance software for enterprise applications, said that it has appointed Michele Shannon as Vice President of Product Management; Max Hill as VP Sales Western Region, and Peter MacPherson as VP Sales Eastern Region. Veoh Gets $25M In Funding Round
Los Angeles-based video sharing and distribution firm Veoh Networks said Wednesday morning that it has received a Series C funding round, worth $25M. The investment was led by Goldman Sachs. In addition to Goldman Sachs, Veoh said that Firefly3 LLC, the investment arm of former Viacom and MTV Networks CEO Tom Freston, and Jonathan Dolgen, former Chairman and CEO of Viacom Entertainment Group, also invested in the round. Tapioca Mobile Gets Funding From Venrock
San Diego-based Tapioca Mobile said this morning that it has raised an initial round of seed funding from venture capital firm Venrock. Size of the venture round was not disclosed. As part of the funding, David Siminoff and Neeraj Choubey of Venrock have joined the firm's board of directors. Tapioca said that it is developing technology that allows media companies and advertisers to deliver video and rich media to mobile handsets. Oversee.net Adds CFO
Los Angeles-based Oversee.net, a provider of online marketing and lead generation, said today that it has named Stacey M. Peterson as CFO of the firm. Peterson joins Oversee from Internet Brands, where she was also CFO. Peterson has also served at TTM Technologies and ARCO Products Company. Peterson will report to Lawrence Ng, Oversee's CEO. SAIC Acquires Scicom Technologies
San Diego-based Science Applications International Corporation said today that it has completed the acquisition of Scicom Technologies Private Limited, a provider of onsite and offshore hydrocarbon exploration product development services and consulting. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Scicom's services are used by the energy and healthcare industry. Scicom is based in New Delhi, India.

SEMDirector Hires International VP
San Diego-based SEMDirector has expanded its executive staff, saying this morning that it has hired Anthony Risicato to head up the firm's international business. Riscato joins the firm from Innovation Interactive, and has also served at DoubleClick, where he ran the company's international operations. Riscato will serve as Vice President of Display Analytics and General Manager of International, and will be based in New York. Koders Targets Professionals
Santa Monica-based source code search engine firm Koders is announcing today that it has officially released a new self-service, professional edition of its corporate code search product. The new product is targeted at software developers looking for a tool to search their own private source code. The new Koders Pro Edition software is downloadable by developers, and according to the firm searches version control systems from development IDEs like Eclipse and Visual Studio, along with the web.
