iPhotoMeasure Raises $400K
Tarzana-based iPhotoMeasure has raised $400K in funding, the firm's CEO and Founder, Paul Minor, told socalTECH Monday afternoon. iPhotoMeasure, which develops software products that allow contractors and others to take measurements from a photo, said that the round came from undisclosed private sources. iPhotoMeasure's products use a digital camera and a target marker, to allow people to make measurements of rooms and objects from their photographs.

Globat.com Acquires CompleteHostingSolutions.com
Los Angeles-based web hosting provider Globat.com said Monday that it has acquired CompleteHostingSolutions.com. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Both CompleteHostingSolutions and Globat provide web hosting services to consumers and businesses.

AnywhereCD To Shut Down
AnywhereCD, the San Diego-based digital music retailer headed by MP3.com's Michael Robertson, is shutting down. According to an email from Robertson, the firm is officially shutting down in a few days, when the firm's contract to sell both CD and digital versions of Warner's music tracks expires. AnywhereCD allowed people to buy both CDs and DRM-free, MP3 versions of the same album through an online store. MySpace Launches Ad-Supported Mobile Service
Fox Interactive Media said today that MySpace, the firm's social networking web site, is launching new, free mobile web services as part of a new, ad-supported mobile Web site effort. FIM said that its MySpace Mobile Web service will be available to consumers this week in beta, and will be supported by advertising. FIM also said that it will be launching mobile sites for several of the company's other Web brands, including IGN, FoxSports.com, AskMen, and RottenTomatoes.com, at the same time. Fox (More info...)

Stickam.com Adds Radio Station Ties
Los Angeles-based Stickam.com announced this morning that the online social networking and video website has established a number of cross-promotional ties with radio stations. Stickam.com said that 97.1 Free FM and 95.5 KLOS FM in Los Angeles, KMEL 106 FM, STAR 101.3 and Channel 104.9 in San Francisco, KUBE 93 and The Monkey 104.9 in Seattle, and Power 105.1 in New York, are using the firm's site to stream live performances and interviews. DataDirect Networks Names CFO
Chatsworth-based DataDirect Networks has named Kevin Rubin as CFO, the company said today. Rubin joins DataDirect from MRV Communications, where he was Chief Financial Officer and Compliance OFficer. Rubin has also served at accounting firm Arthur Andersen. DataDirect Networks is a developer of storage systems, which are used in high performance computing (HPC), multimedia applications, and enterprise storage.

ClipBlast Shows Video Widget
Agoura Hills-based ClipBlast has unveiled a new "widget" for its video search services, the company announced Monday morning. The firm said that its new ClipBlast! Video Widget provides web-wide video search and navigation on the desktop. The new widget runs on PC and Mac platforms. ClipBlast is showing the software at DEMOfall today. Strix Deploys In Kentucky
Calabasas-based outdoor wireless mesh networking firm Strix Systems has scored another deployment, saying today that it has installed its products in Owensboro, Kentucky for PowerNet Global Communications. The deployment is part of an outdoor wireless system serving a 20-square mile area in Owensboro. D-Link Gets GSA Contract
