Docstoc Goes Live
Beverly Hills-based Docstoc, an online web site for sharing professional documents, went live Tuesday, after a brief beta period. Docstoc, which is headed by Jason Nazar, is looking to create a "Youtube" for professionally created legal and business documents, such as wills, contracts, and other agreements and documents. According to Nazar, the site now has over 7,000 users and 12,000 documents in the service.

Internet Brands Sets IPO Terms
El Segundo-based Internet Brands said today in a filing with the SEC that it intends to sell 9,566,454 shares of its common stock in an IPO on the NASDAQ Global Market, at a price between $10.00 and $12.00 per share. The firm, which runs a number of consumer focused web sites such as CarsDirect.com, Wikitravel.org, and ApartmentRatings.com, is venture backed by Idealab, Foundation Capital, and Clearstone Ventures. King.com Extends Yahoo Games Deal
Los Angeles- and London-based King.com, an online provider of casual games, said Tuesday that the firm has extended a relationship it has with Yahoo!. The firm said that it will provide its skill games, which include puzzle, action, strategy, word, sports, and card games, across the Yahoo! Games site. mobileStorm Raises Series A Funding
Los Angeles-based mobileStorm has raised a Series A round of funding, according to eonBusiness, the venture capital firm behind the round. eonBusiness said it was the sole investor in mobileStorm, a provider of email marketing products and services. Financial details of the funding round were not disclosed. Imagine Communications Adds $15M
San Diego-based Imagine Communications, which develops video on demand and IPTV hardware, said today that it has closed on $15M in Series B funding for the firm. The round was led by Court Square Ventures, and also included prior investors Columbia Capital and Carmel Ventures. The firm said this round brings the company's total raised to more than $24M. Genoptix Raises $85M In IPO
Carlsbad-based Genoptix, a provider of laboratory services for health clinics, has raised $85M in an IPO. Genoptix sold 5M shares of its stock at $17.00 per share Monday on the Nasdaq under the symbol GXDX. The firm's IPO was underwritten by Lehman Brothers, Banc of America Securities, and Cowen and Company; the firm is venture backed by Enteprise Partners, Chicago Growth Partners, William Blair, Alliance Technology Ventures, Tullis-Dickerson, and Excelsior Venture Partners.

Entropic Prices IPO
San Diego-based Entropic Communications said in a filing with the SEC today that it will sell 10,000,000 shares of its common stock at between $9.00 and $11.00 per share. The firm, which has applied to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol ENTR, is looking to raise up to $110M in its offering. Entropic's IPO is being underwritten by Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, Thomas Weisel Partners, JMP securities, and ThinkEquity Partners. MySpace Links With Zazzle
Los Angeles-based social networking web site MySpace has inked a deal with customized merchandise firm Zazzle, to let MySpace musicians and bands sell their goods on the site. MySpace and Zazzle said that they are in a distribution partnership, which targets musicians and bands on MySpace.
