Ensynch Names CFO
Los Angeles-based Ensynch, a provider of IT infrastructure and managed hosting, said Monday that it has added Rick Winterich as CFO. Winterich has served as CFO of Horizon Services, Mobility Elecronics, and the Harbour Group, and has also been at Square D Company and Burr-Brown Corporation. Ensynch is a provider of colocation, remote monitoring, staffing, and IT management.

Classmates Sets IPO Terms
Woodland Hills-based Classmates said Friday in a filing with the SEC that it will offer 12 million shares of its stock at between $10 and $12 per share. The firm, which is looking to trade on the Nasdaq Global Market as CLAS, is a unit of Woodland Hills-based United Online. The IPO is being underwritten by Goldman, Sachs & Co., JPMorgan, and Deutsche Bank Securities. Classmates operates on online social networking service focused on connecting classmates and old acquaintances.

Telelogic Revs Software
Irvine-based Telelogic said today that it has released a new version of the firm's Telelogic System Architect software, Telelogic Tau, and integration between the two software packages. The software offerings are used by companies for business planning and application development. Among the enhancements to the firm's System Architect software is integration with Microsoft Visio. The company said that the new versions of its software will be available on December 21st.

ESET Targets Enterprise With Security Suite
San Diego-based ESET, a provider of security software, said this morning that it has released a new security solution targeted at the enterprise and small to medium sized business market. The firm said its ESET Smart Security Business Edition product provides antivirus, antispam, and firewall features, and will be available for purchase on the firm's web site and at Micro Center retail stores. The new suite incorporates ESET's NOD32 flagship antivirus software.

Imagine Communications Hires New VPs
San Diego-based Imagine Commmunications, a firm developing digital video processing technology, said today that it has appointed several new executives in preparation for its commercial launch later this year. The firm said it has added Zeev Prokopets as VP of R&D and GM Israel; Yves Boudreau to Director, Systems Engineering; and Jeff Delazaro to Regional VP, Sales.
