Local.com Inks Deal With Citysearch
Irvine-based Local.com said Thursday morning that it is in a strategic partnership with IAC's Citysearch. Local.com said it will display Citysearch business profile data, editorial and user reviews, along with other information. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In a statement, Citysearch VP Rob Angel said that the relationship allows the firm's merchants to expand their local advertising reach and connect with more customers. Valeant Pharmaceutical Sells Rights To Infergen
Aliso Viejo-based Valeant Pharmaceuticals, a drug development firm developing specialty pharmaceuticals, said Thursday that it has signed a definitive agreement with Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals to sell its U.S. and Canadian rights to the hepatitis C drug Infergen. The deal is worth $91M. The firm said the sale would allow the firm to simplify and focus its operations. SpaceX Passes NASA Milestone
Hawthorne-based SpaceX said Wednesday that the firm has completed a review for NASA as part of its participation in a program to develop a commercial rocket for resupplying the International Space Station. SpaceX, which is funded by Paypal founder Elon Musk, said that it completed a Systems Requirements Review (SRR) under NASA's Commercial Oprbital Transporation Services (COTS) program.
