Ticketmaster Gets Approval On Paciolan Acquisition
West Hollywood-based Ticketmaster, the ticketing firm owned by IAC, said Thursday afternoon that it has been granted early termination of the HSR waiting period by the FTC for its acquisition of Irvine-based Paciolan. Ticketmaster had announced its acquisition of Paciolan in July. No financial terms of the acquisition have been disclosed. Paciolan is a provider of online ticketing software. MTI Europe Acquired By Garnett & Helfrich Capital
Private equity firm Garnett & Helfrich Capital said today that it has acquired MTI Europe, the European branch of bankrupt storage value added reseller MTI. Financial terms of the buyout were not disclosed. The sale came as part of a court-supervised bankruptcy auction. Tustin-based MTI file for bankruptcy in October and had laid off most of its employees. DivX Loses Greenhall From Board
San Diego-based DivX said Thursday afternoon that Jordan Greenhall has resigned from the firm's board of directors. No reason for the resignation of Greenhall, who was the founder of DivX, was given. According to DivX, the firm's baord of directors will discuss the vacancy and appointment of a new Chairman at its next meeting. GloNav Acquired By NXP Semiconductors For $110M
Newport Beach-based GPS semiconductor firm GloNav is being acquired by NXP Semiconductors, a Netherlands-based semiconductor firm. NXP Semiconductors said it will pay $85M in cash plus up to $25M in milestone payments for GloNav, which develops global positioning system chips and satellite navigation systems. Occam Gets Win In Guam
Santa Barbara-based broadband equipment provider Occam Networks said Thursday that it has been selected by GTA TeleGuam, based in Guam, for a major upgrade of the telecommunications firm's network. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Ocamm said that GTA TeleGuam is Guam's largest telecommunications provider.
