NanoImaging Sees $1.5M
San Diego-based NanoImaging Services, a provider of high resolution, three dimensional transmission electron microscope imaging services, said Tuesday that it has raised $1.5M in a Series A round from Merck Capital Ventures. NanoImaging said the funding will go to expand the firm's service laboratory, and a move from San Diego to La Jolla. MySpace Launches Another Web Series
Los Angeles-based MySpace said today that it has launched another, original web show called "Special Delivery." The social networking web site said that the non-scripted, hidden-camera reality show will be produced in association with Avalon TV and executive producers Jason Irwin and Garth Holsinger. MySpace said the show is the firm's second co-development project, and is the second original web show created specifically for MySpaceTV. The new web series will feature 18 original episodes. Ticketmaster Completes TicketsNow Acquisition
West Hollywood-based Ticketmaster said this morning that it has completed its aquisition of web tickets marketplace TicketsNow. Ticketmaster, which is owned by IAC, had previously announced the acquisition in January. Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed. TicketsNow provides a marketplace that allows users to sell music, sports, and other live entertainment tickets. Citysearch In Advertising Pact With Marchex
West Hollywood-based Citysearch, the local guide business of Barry Diller's IAC, said today that the firm is in a strategic partnership with Marchex. According to the firms, Citysearch will provide its content, including editorial and user review, images, video, and other information to Marchex's local web sites. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Marchex operates a network of highly vertical, targeted local business guides and similar websites.

Break.com Features NBA Video
Los Angeles-based male-oriented entertainment website Break.com said today that it will begin offering National Basketball Association video highlights on its web site. Break said that it will offer NBA video highlights on a dedicated channel on the site, including game highlights and videos from the 2008 NBA All Star Game. The firm said that the new NBA Highlights channel will offer advertisers another channel to target on the site. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Kidthing Adds The Cat in the Hat
Los Angeles-based online education site kidthing said this morning that it has inked a content distribution partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, to bring enhanced versions of Dr. Seuss books to its platform. MSC.Software Signs Satyam
Santa Ana-based MSC.Software said Monday afternoon that the firm's software has been selected by IT services provider Satyam. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Satyam will use MSC.Software's MSC Nastran and Patran software as part of its product development process. MSC.Software develops simulation software used for product design.
