Iomega Gets New Buyout Offer From EMC
San Diego-based Iomega is reporting this morning that it has received a new, revised takeover proposal from EMC Corporation. Iomega, which spurned an EMC offer last week to buy the firm, said EMC has upped its offer to $3.75 per share of its stock for approximately 54.8M outstanding shares. The offer is worth approximately $205.5M. Staccato Ships USB Development Kit
San Diego-based Staccato Communications, which develops a single-chip, CMOS wireless USB semiconductors, announced a new development kit for the firm's products Monday. The firm said its new Ripcord1 Development Kit provides a software library and development library that will help accelerate native Wireless USB device designs for its customers. Viva Vision Inks Mobile Development Deal With Univision
Santa Monica-based Viva Vision, a provider of mobile entertainment content, said today that it has signed a partnership with Univision Movil. According to Viva Vision, it has developed an entertainment slideshow application which displays images form Univision's content library to wireless handsets, and the companies will develop new entertainment product together. ValueClick Loses eBay Affiliate Deal
Westlake Village-based ValueClick has lost its affiliate marketing deal with eBay, according to an announcement by eBay this morning. According to online auction giant eBay, it will move to an in-house affiliate network from ValueClick's Commission Junction platform. The switch covers eBay and Half.com. eBay sites Tradera AB, ProStores, Reseller Marketplace, Media Marketplace, eBay Stores, and StubHub remain with Commission Junction. WebVisible Raises $12M
Irvine-based WebVisible announced that it has raised a $12M, Series B funding round for the firm's local advertising services today. The round came was led by Sutter Hill Ventures, and also included prior investor Redpoint Ventures. The firm said that Sutter Hill's Jim White joins the firm's board of directors alongside the funding. Novacoast Buys Integrated Network Systems
Santa Barbara-based Novacoast said Friday that it has acquired Integrated Network Systems, LLC, a provider of desktop management, email and groupware consulting, and network design. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Integrated Network Solutions serves Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Novacoast is a provider of IT professional services and product development.

Business.com Launches New Sections, Enhances Site

Irvine-based foreclosure real estate information provider RealtyTrac is in a deal to provide its listings to DotHomes.com, a London-based vertical search site, DotHomes.com said today.
