MindTouch Upgrades Wiki Software
San Diego-based MindTouch said Wednesday that it has upgraded its open source wiki software. The firm said its new release, MindTouch Deki Wiki v8.05, specifically adds international language support. According to MindTouch, the new language features were developed for Mozilla, in order to allow the open source foundation to host multiple languages on its site. Sendio Upgrades Email Appliance
Irvine-based Sendio announced Wednesday that the firm has upgraded the firm's email security appliance, the I.C.E. Box. The firm said that the new version of its email security product adds new support for Domain Keys, which is an email standard used to improve validation of email servers; new support for Spanish; and better reporting of the status of queued messages. Spot Runner Takes $51M
Los Angeles-based Spot Runner, a provider of technology for helping to place television advertisements, said this morning that it has raised new investments worth $51M. The investment came from a group of investors that includes the Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT), Grupo Televisa, Legg Mason Capital Management, and Groupe Arnault/LVMH. NTS Acquires Certification Firm
Calabasas-based National Technical Systems announced today that it has acquired International Management Systems, a Tampa, Florida-based provider of ISO 9001 certification. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. NTS said that the acquisition was made by its joint venture subsidiary, National Quality Assurance, USA. Internet Brands Bumps Rosenblum to CTO
Los Angeles-based Internet Brands Inc., an operator of several community and e-commerce Web sites, reported Tuesday that it has promoted Joseph Rosenblum to chief technology officer, effective immediately. Internet Brands said Rosenblum has supervised all areas of technology development since joining the company in 2006 as a vice president. Overland Adds Certification Program
