paidContent Acquired By Guardian Media
Santa Monica-based online news publisher ContentNext, operator of the paidContent.org and other online news publications, announced this morning that it has been acquired by Guardian News & Media, the news media division of UK-based Guardian Media Group. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Guardian is the publisher of the Guardian and the Observer, two major UK national newspapers. TIG Acquires Atlanta-Based Systems Integrator
The Technology Integration Group, a San Diego-based provider of computer systems integration and IT consulting services, announced Tuesday that it has acquired the Entre Business Technology Group of Atlanta. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. SpaceX Installs Murphy as Marketing, Communications VP
Space Exploration Technologies Corp., a developer of manned and unmanned launch vehicles for space exploration, reported Thursday that it has hired Diane Murphy as vice president of marketing and communications. International Rectifier Names New General Counsel
International Rectifier Corp., a manufacturer of analog, digital and mixed-signal computer chips for use in power management applications, reported this week that it has hired Tim Bixler as vice president, general counsel and secretary. SiliconSystems Names Marketing VP
Aliso Viejo-based SiliconSystems, a developer of silicon storage products, said Thursday that it has named Robert Fan as the firm's Vice President of Marketing. Fan joins the firm from Entorian Technologies, and has also served previously at Berkana Wireless, Resonet Communications, and Intel Corporation. Silicon Systems said that Fan will lead the firm's global marketing and business development efforts.
