HotStartupJobs.com Launches Job Aggregation Site
Los Angeles-based HotStartupJobs.com, a new web site focused on aggregating job board listings, said Wednesday evening that it has launched its service, focused on finding startup related jobs. The firm's web site features listings from Dice, TechIt, Monster, Jobster, and other job boards. The firm said it is focused on filtering startup related jobs into a single, easy-to-use, and searchable site. The company was founded by John Diep, and is hosted by MediaTemple.

Docstoc Launches Synchronization, Personal Doc Storage
Beverly Hills-based Docstoc, a venture backed startup which runs an online document sharing web site, said today that the firm has launched two new features. Docstoc said that it has added a new feature, Docstoc MyDocs, which allows users to store personal documents online. In addition, the firm said it has created a new, download application that will automatically synchronize documents from a user's computer to the site. Microfabrica Scores $22.5M
Van Nuys-based Microfabrica, which micro-fabricates three dimensional micro-devices, said Thursday that the firm has raised $22.5M in a Series B funding. The round was co-led by Versant Ventures and Interwest Partners, and also included prior investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, DynaFund Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, and Partech International. Quantum Fuel Systems Consolidates Facilities
Irvine-based Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies, which develops powertrain and other energy-related technology, said Thursday that it has consolidated its two California operational facilities into a Lake Forest campus. The firm--which is behind the hybrid powertrain being used in plug-in hybrid car maker Fisker Automotive--said the new location gives it approximately 100,000 square feet, for its product development, engineering, advanced research, and other facilities. Fonality Dials Up $12M
Los Angeles-based Fonality, which develops open source PBX software and communications systems, said late Wednesday evening that it has raised $12M in a financing round. The round was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson Growth Fund, and also included prior investor Intel Capital. Fonality said it will use the new capital to expand its market share. Qualcomm Names New Enterprise Exec
San Diego-based Qualcomm has hired on a new executive for the firm's Qualcomm Enterprise Services division, the company said Tuesday. Qualcomm said that it has appointed Robert Walton as Senior Vice President and Division President of the unit. Walton has been at Qualcomm since May of 2007, and has also previously served at Compaq Computer, PIXAR Animation Studios, NeXT Computer and Northern Telecom Electronics (now Nortel Networks), among others.
