VIDiGREET Launches New E-Card Line
Hollywood-based VIDiGREET.com, a publisher of online video greeting cards, has launched a new line of video cards, the firm said Monday, based on the content of comedian Liam Sullivan. VIDiGREET said that Sullivan's character Kelly will be features in a line of video greeting cards, targeted--in the company's words--the "YouTube, MySpace, Facebook generation." Qualcomm Signs Chinese Mobile Phone Firm
San Diego-based Qualcomm announced Monday that it has signed on Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Beijing Tianyu Communications Equipment Co., Ltd. According to Qualcomm, it is in a subscriber unit and modem card/module license agreement with Tianyu. Qualcomm has given Tianyu a worldwide patent license for its CDMA2000 and WCDMA technology. Financial terms of the royalty deal were not given.

Axesstel Shuffles Board
San Diego-based Axesstel, a developer of fixed wireless and broadband data products, said Monday afternoon that the firm's Chairman, Bryan B. Min, is resigning. According to the firm, Min is resigning for personal reasons, and will be replaced in early 2009. Min has been on the firm's board since November of 2005, and is the founder and CEO of Epison System Solutions, Inc.
