iTMP Wires Fitness Devices, iPhone
Santa Barbara-based iTMP Technology, a startup developing hardware that connects fitness machines to the Apple iPhone and other smartphones, has launched an effort to connect heart monitors and cycling sensors to the Apple iPhone and other smart phones. iTMP launched a set of Apple iPhone applications this week, which collect data from heart monitors and biking sensors and delivers it to the iPhone and the Internet. Disney Online Launches Tweener Site
North Hollywood-based Disney Online said Friday that it has rolled out a new site, DisneyXD, targeted at the "tween" market. The Disney unit said that the online and mobile site would target kids and tween boys with action-based games, full length video, music, sports, and other similar themes. Networks In Motion Signs Ericsson
Aliso Viejo-based Networks In Motion, a provider of wireless navigation and mobile search services, said this morning that it has signed an agreement with Ericsson. According to Networks In Motion, it will offer the firm's location-based services for GPS-enabled mobile phones to Ericsson customers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mixed Signals Promotes Two
Los Angeles-based Mixed Signals, which develops equipment used to monitor video on on demand, video network, interactive content, and other video-related streams in cable, broadcast and satellite television networks, said this week it has promoted two executives.
