THQ Reports Loss
Agoura Hills-based video game maker THQ reported its yearly results Wednesday afternoon, reporting that it saw a net loss of $431.1M on sales of $830.0M. The losses were significantly higher than the $35.3M the firm lost on sales of $1,030.5M a year ago. For the quarter, the firm said it had a net loss of $96.9M on net sales of $170.3M, compared with a net loss of $34.5M on revenues of $187.0M a year ago. SupplyFrame Gains $1.5M
Pasadena-based SupplyFrame, which operates a service for searching for information on electronic components, has raised $1.5M in an initial funding of a $4.0M round, according to a regulatory filing. Details on the funding have not been released. The firm has previously raised funding from such companies as Clearstone Venture Partners, US Venture Partners; CommerceNet is also now listed as an investor.

Gorilla Nation Extends Canadian Wins, Signs Dailymotion.com
Los Angeles-based Gorilla Nation, which provides representation to web publishers, said today that the firm has signed on to represent the ad inventory for Dailymotion.com in Canada. Dailymotion.com is a video sharing site. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. The win is the latest in a string of Canadian ad rep deals for the firm, including deals with Gawker, Reuters, Veoh, and MetaCafe.

Transonic Combustion Gets Series C Funding
Camarillo-based Transonic Combustion, which is developing fuel injection systems for the automotive industry, said Wednesday that the firm has raised a Series C round of funding. The funding came from Venrock, Khosla Ventures, Rustic Canyon Partners, and Saints Capital. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. United Online Sees Growth In Classmates
Woodland Hills-based United Online reported its quarterly results Tuesday, saying that the firm had revenues of $263.6M for the quarter. The results were bolstered by strong performance at its Classmates Media business, which increased 13% year over year. The increase in services revenue at Classmates Media--up 22% year to year--more than offset a slight decline in advertising revenues in that segment. Stickam.com Adds White-Label Streaming
Los Angeles-based live video streaming site StickAm.com is looking to help companies provide their own, live streaming, saying today that it has added a new, white-label offering called StreamAPI. According to StickAm, the new offering will help businesses offer their own live streaming of content, on a pay-as-you-go pricing. Orange-based Marshal8e6, which develops web and email security products, revealed this morning that it is in a collaboration with Microsoft to supply URL categorization for Microsoft products. Mzima Networks Extends To Amsterdam
Los Angeles-based Mzima Networks, an operator of a Internet backbone network, disclosed this morning that it has expanded its network to Amsterdam. According to Mzima, it has expanded its IP network into to colocation facilities in Amsterdam, operated by TelecityGroup. The firm said the new connections bring the number of facilities connected into its network to over 40, across North America, Europe, and Asia. StrataCare Gains Funding
Irvine-based StrataCare, a provider of Internet-based software for managing worker's compensation payments, announced this morning that an investment group has acquired an ownership stake in the firm.
