Catchpoint Releases Real User Monitoring Tool
Los Angeles-based Catchpoint Systems, the web monitoring startup headed by former DoubleClick exec Mehdi Daoudi, has released a new beta of a real-user monitoring tool. The firm said its Catchpoint Glimpse tool tracks the performance of actual visitors to websites and web applications, allowing companies to measure user performance and pinpoint user problems. Microsemi Gets $22M Order
Irvine-based Microsemi, a manufacturer of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, reported Wednesday that it has received $22M in a production order. The firm said the order came for customized GPS modules which will be used for military missile guidance, secure radio communications, and guided munitions. The firm said the technology used in the modules came as a result of its acquisition of White Electronic Designs Corporation in May.

eHarmony Heads To Santa Monica
Pasadena-based online dating site eHarmony is moving its headquarters from Pasadena to Santa Monica, according to reports from local community papers. eHarmony is reported to be moving to a space in the Yahoo! Center, taking with it 250 employees to the new location. No date for the move was given. eHarmony has been in its current Pasadena location on Walnut street for the last five years.

Synthetic Genomics, ExxonMobil Open New Facility
La Jolla-based Synthetic Genomics and Exxon Mobil announced today that they have opened up a greenhouse facility, as part of the two firms' $300M biofuels effort. The two, which announced last week that ExxonMobil will invest up to $300M in Synthetic Genomics for its biofuels development efforts, said that the greenhouse facility will enable research and testing of its algae biofuels program. RingRevenue Powering Google Pay-per-Call Trial
Santa Barbara-based RingRevenue, the provider of pay-per-call technology headed by Jason Spievak, apparently is powering a trial by Google in its Google Affiliate Network. In news leaked out by Affiliate New Review, apparently Google is using RingRevenue on a trial of paying commissions for phone-based traffic. LiveOffice Adds Social Networking Support
Torrance-based LiveOffice, the provider of email archiving, compliance, and backup services, said yesterday that it has linked with SocialWare, a provider of software for connecting companies to social networking sites. According to the two firms, the link will allow users of LiveOffice's AdvisorMail software to pre-review and route social networking updates through a company's compliance workflow. Cocodot.com Ties With Lilly Pulitzer
Hollywood-based Cocodot, the online invitation and greetings site headed by former MySpace exec Shawn Gold, said today that it has unveiled a new invitation and greeting collection along with women's fashion retailer Lilly Pulitzer. Morphlabs Raises $5.5M
El Segundo-based Morphlabs, the latest startup of Winston Damarillo, is announcing today that it has raised $5.5M in a Series B financing round. The round was led by Global Gateway Investment Group (G2iG), and also includes Frontera Group LLC, CSK Venture Capital Co. Ltd. and AO Capital Partners Ltd. TweetUp Signs Four New Publishers
Pasadena-based TweetUp, the Twitter advertising firm started by Idealab's Bill Gross, is expanding out its network of sites this morning, saying that it has added four new publishers to its roster. The firm said it has signed distribution agreements with Business.com, Netvibes, TheFreeDictionary.com, and several un-named newspapers. All of those sites will serve up search results from TweetUp. YuMe Sets Up Shop In Santa Monica
Redwood City-based YuMe, a Bay Area provider of video advertising technology, announced today that it has set up shop in Santa Monica with a new sales office. The firm, which is backed by Accel Partners, BV Capital, DAG Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Menlo Ventures, said it has opened an office along Main Street, and has hired three new hires at the location. Broadcom Bolsters Bluetooth Support
Irvine-based semiconductor firm Broadcom announced today that the firm has upgraded its support of the Bluetooth wireless chip to the latest version of Bluetooth, version 4.0, across its entire portfolio. According to Broadcom, the new support comes across its core BTE Bluetooth stack and Bluetooth systems-on-a-chip (SOC) products.
