QLogic Claims 10GbE Ethernet Gains
Aliso Viejo-based QLogic claimed Monday that it has gained market share in the 10Gb Ethernet Adapter market. QLogic, citing numbres from the Del'Oro Group, said it now has 15.7 percent revenue share of the 10GbE adapter market, and the only vendor to have gained market share for five consecutive quarters. The firm also said it is number two, second only to Intel in the rankings. Number one in the market is Intel. QLogic's 10GbE adapters provide both TCP/IP and Fibre Channel over Ethernet on 10Gb (More info...)

LiveOffice Signs Dodgers
Torrance-based LiveOffice, the provider of email archiving and compliance services backed by Summit Partners, reports today that it has added the Los Angeles Dodgers as a customer. According to LiveOffice, the Dodgers are using the firm's services to replace an outdated backup system. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Aerovironment Names Operations VP
Monrovia-based Aerovironment, which develops both unmanned aerial vehicles and electric transportation and other energy products, announced today that it has named Joel Hirsch as Vice President of Strategic Operations at the firm. Hirsch was most recently president of TEAC Aerospace Technologies, and also served at Teledyne Technologies, Inc. Geodelic Wins Clear Channel
Santa Monica-based Geodelic, the mobile application development firm run by Rahul Sonnad, has signed up Clear Channel's airport division, Clear Channel Airports, the companies said today. According to the two, the firms have create a new, location-based mobile app called FLYsmart, which will provide information to air travelers about services and amenities in terminals, arrival and departure information, news, and more. Citrix Enhances GoToTraining
Santa Barbara-based Citrix Online announced this morning that i thas rolled out a new, integrated toll-free audio option for its Citrix GoToTraining service. Citrix GotoTraining is the firm's online training product. The firm said the new feature allows users to connect into the product using toll-free, toll, and voice-over-Internet connections. Among capabilities of the new feature are ability to record and playback audio sessions, and monthly or quarterly pricing and rates.

BP Logix Claims Record Quarter
San Diego-based BP Logix, a privately held developer of business process management software, said today that it had a record quarter for its quarter ending July 31, 2010. no actual financials were announced, but the firm claimed it had a revenue increase of 28 percent, year over year. The firm credited expansion into Europe and acceptance of its software into the market.
