Total Immersion Lands Deal With Book Publisher
Los Angeles-based Total Immersion, the augmented reality software firm headed by Bruno Uzzan, has extended the firm's list of promotional content deals to the book publishing business. CODA Automotive Begins Taking Deposits On Cars
Santa Monica-based CODA Automotive is now taking deposits on the firm's upcoming, electric car, the CODA Sedan, the firm said today. According to CODA, it will allow consumers to reserve a CODA, via a fully refundable, $499 deposit at the firm's web site. CODA said it anticipates it will start delivering a limited number of vehicles by the end of 2010. New Group Looks To Bridge Gap Between Research, Companies
Taking notice of the gap between the amount and depth of research and technology at local universities, and new company formation, a new group has quietly formed in Los Angeles to tackle the issue. Move, Inc. Buys Threewide
Move, Inc., the operator of online real estate sites Move.com and Realtor.com, said today that it has acquired Threewide Corp., operator of ListHub, an online real estate syndication service for brokers, real estate franchises, and multiple listing services (MLSs). eNom Ties With LegitScript

Irvine-based Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, a developer of alternative energy products, including propulsion systems for electric cars, said Monday that it has received a $4.4M, low interest loan from the California Energy Commission.
