Shopatron Trumpets Client Count
San Luis Obispo-based Shopatron, a developer of e-commerce software platforms, said this week that it now has over 200 clients using the firm's products. The company--which focuses on branded stores--said those 200 clients represent 300 brands, including Callaway Golf, Suzuki, Johnson Outdoors, Sports Chalet, and others. The firm said the growth is being driven by global expansion, ability to handle in-store pickups and store-to-store delivery, and other features.

FutureLogic Sues Competitor
Glendale-based FutureLogic, a developer of printers for the gas station, POS, and other markets, said this morning that it has filed a patent infringement suit against competitor Nanoptix, in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. According to FutureLogic, Nanoptix is infringing on its patent No. 7,594,855, related to printers used in casinos.
