CapLinked Revamps Site With New Features
Manhattan Beach-based CapLinked said this week that it has made some major updates to the site, overhauling and improving the online service for managing investment activity for companies and deal tracking for investors. OnGreen Announces Chinese Roadshow Participants

Tecca Improves, Relaunches Mobile App
Venice-based Tecca, the online consumer technology information site focused on women, said Thursday that it has relaunched and redesigned the site's iOS application. The firm said the new app includes local deals, personalized content recommendations, a new knowledge base, and more. Tecca's upgraded app is available for free, and runs on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Tecca is backed by Best Buy, but runs independently of the electronics retailer. Former Miramar Ventures' Partner Goyal Heads New $50M Healthcare IT Fund
Maneesh Goyal, formerly a venture capitalist at Corona Del Mar-based Miramar Venture Partners, is now officially head of his own fund--a $50M, healthcare IT fund called MergerTech Capital. GRP Partners Leads Investment In Awe.sm
Los Angeles-based GRP Partners is one of the lead investors in a developer of social media analytics software, Awe.sm, Awe.sm said Thursday. Awe.sm has raised $4M in a round which was led by Foundry Group and GRP Partners, and which also included Neu Venture Capital and kps+p Ventures. Awe.sm's tools are used by application developers to monitor and measure social media and sharing activity through their apps. Awe.sm did not announce who at GRP led the investment.

RealD Wins Another Museum
Los Angeles-based RealD is reporting another large format, museum theater win today, this time with The Wildlife Experience, a museum focused on the world's wildlife and ecosystems based in Parker, Colorado. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. RealD said that it is upgrading the museum's Extreme Screen Theater to RealD 3D. Ogmento Launches Mobile NBA Game
Los Angeles- and New York-based Ogmento, a publisher of augmented reality mobile games, announced today that it has released a new, basketball-themed game called NBA: King of the Court. The game, available on both iOs and Android, allows players to play virtual games at virtual courts around the world. Los Angeles-based startup nProgress, headed by former Pandemic Studios President Josh Resnick, is announcing this morning that it has launched ntro, a new smart phone app for iPhone and Android aimed at social discovery. Kofax Invests In Mobile Software Firm Mobiflex
Irvine-based Kofax said late Wednesday that it has invested $500,000 in Mobiflex, a developer of software tools for creating iPhone and Android apps without coding. Kofax said the deal includes an OEM agreement where it will gain exclusive rights to Mobiflex technology for develop, market, and deploy mobile capture applications for customers using smartphones and tablet computers. Active Network Launches Ski Resort App
San Diego-based Active Network reported this morning that its RTP unit, the provider of ski resort and park information software, has launched a new mobile app platform called LiveInfo. The firm said the mobile app platform allows resorts, parks, and attractions to create their own, custom branded iPhone and Android apps. SweetLabs Awards $50K To App Developers
San Diego-based SweetLabs, the developer of the Pokki desktop app software, reported Wednesday that it has awarded $50,000 in its Pokki Challenge, a contest for encouraging developers to create desktop applications using HTML5. The firm said it awarded $30,000 to Mohamed Tedjani Meftah for his Mixtape app, $13,000 to Jeet Singh for his Chess app, and $7,000 to Denis Denisyuk for his Instagrille photo app. SweetLabs reported it received 60 apps over the six week challenge, which are now available (More info...)

Cornerstone OnDemand Links With Sage North America
Santa Monica-based Cornerstone OnDemand, the developer of human resources and talent management software, said today Sage North America has signed a reseller agreement with the company. Sage North America, which provides business management software and services, will resell Cornerstone's software-as-a-service product along with its Sage Employer Solution HR management tools.
