Adconion Rolls Joost Into SmartclipAdconion Media Group, the online advertising network which has major operations in Los Angeles, said this morning that it has rebranded Joost Media into a its smartclip video advertising division. Smartclip, which Adconion acquired in November of last year, is a European digital video advertising provider. Sonos In Deal With Chinese Cloud Music ProviderSanta Barbara-based Sonos, the maker of the popular, user-friendly multi room music systems, has connected its devices into another cloud music provider--this time, in China. Demand Media Raises 2012 Guidance On Registrar GrowthSanta Monica-based Demand Media, the online publishing business run by Richard Rosenblatt, announced its first quarter 2012 results yesterday, and also raised its fiscal 2012 financial guidance. The firm said it had total revenues of $86.2M, an increase of 8 percent from the similar quarter last year.
