HypeMarks Gets $350K
Los Angeles-based HypeMarks, the developer of a service which helps users find new places to explore on the web, has raised $350,000 in a funding round, socalTECH has learned. According to Tim Sae Koo, the firm's founder, the funding came from Idealab, with Allen Morgan of Idealab joining the company's board. HypeMarks was part of the StartEngine accelerator Q1 class; the company originally grew out of Sae Koo's business class at USC. Eucalyptus Revs Software, Targets Enterprise Deployment
Santa Barbara-based cloud computing software maker Eucalyptus Systems, which is run by Marten Mickos, said Tuesday that it has launched a new version of its products, which includes a number of enterprise deployment features. The firm said the new product includes a feature to provide users with a self-service way to get up an running with the Eucalyptus IaaS cloud in under 20 minutes. CapLinked Launches Deal Browsing Feature

Factual Adds Third Party Deals and Coupons, Hotel Data
Los Angeles-based Factual, the developer of APIs and a dataset of geo-located information about businesses and other locations, said today that it has launched a new API, which aggregates and geo-index third party deals, ads, coupons, and offers. ServiceNow Sets IPO Pricing Range
San Diego-based ServiceNow has set the pricing range for its IPO, saying today that it anticipates an initial public offering price for the firm at between $15.00 and $17.00 per share. ServiceNow, which is aiming to trade on the New York Stock Exchange AS NOW, provides software-as-a-service used for enterprise IT management. The firm is backed by JMI Equity and Sequoia Capital.

Reports: ServiceNow To Pitch IPO In Roadshow This Week
Reports this morning say that San Diego-based ServiceNow is planning to start its IPO roadshow this week, as the firm looks to brave a post-Facebook-IPO market. Boingo In Major Deal With SK Telecom
Los Angeles-based mobile Wi-Fi network operator Boingo Wireless has made a major expansion of its network of Wi-Fi access points in South Korea, after signing a network access agreement with SK Telecom. Boingo said this morning that a deal will add 75,000 hotspots in South Korea, located in airports, hotels, convention centers, restaurants and office locations. Microsoft Unveils Surface Tablet In Hollywood

Autobytel Launches Mobile Site
Irvine-based Autobytel is enhancing its mobile website for users, the firm said today, including adding a title sponsorship from auto maker Subaru. Autobytel said it has created a new mobile website "developed from the ground up" to access the firm's automotive information, find local dealers, and more. CallFire Adds NetZero's Burr As Chief Revenue Officer
